In case you are wondering, Dr. Mike is played by Mario Lopez, who played A.C. Slater on Saved By the Bell. Some days, when you lest expect it, the early 90's come back with a vengeance like they were yesterday. I think I'll listen to some Alanis Morissette now.

Mode at the local Y.
That's right, after almost a year of physical inactivity Monsieur Mode as embarked on a radical program of self-improvement, and joined the local YMCA. I know what you all must be thinking; "Mode, you're a walking cliché!" However, with towel service, a 25 yard pool, both steam and dry saunas, and a, shall we say, colorful menagerie of staff and patrons I think I'm the one having the last laugh.

Paroles, Paroles from the Ramon Salazar film, 20 Centimetros. Gawd, I want to live in this world! This is one of my favorite films of all time, featuring the music of everyone from Bowie to Queen to Madonna; the visuals are absolutely stunning as well.
It's almost too fabulous.
Sometimes the need to dance is the only thing that gets me out of bed in the morning.
Going to see Yelle tonight at the Highline. God knows don't ask me why! It's a long story.
